RESEARCH

My research concentrates on Grid computing, an emerging infrastructure with the goal to turn Internet into one big parallel supercomputer.

Millions of PCs connected by Internet can deliver same computational power as the fastest supercomputer in the world. I chose Globus Toolkit as middleware for remote execution of a job. The toolkit provides secure access to remote hosts using X509v3 certificate (with Public Key Infrastructure), resource access management, access to global secondary storage (gridFTP), multiple process submision and monitoring, and replica management.

I'm researching Grid Accounting Services Architecture (GASA) to provide payment and accounting distributed system for global grid computing. GASA is described in my article that appeared in the proceedings of 17th International Parallel and Distributed Processing Symposium (2003).

GridBank

GridBank is implemented in C/C++ and is released under open source license agreement.
